This is my favourite stage, where all comes together. I got all the keyshot render images after a minimum of 8-10 hours render time per image in high quality. However it took like 5-6 days to get all the renders, excluding the test renders, with my laptop's CPU on a verge of exploding due to working 24 hours throughout. At one instance, I got an error where 1 CPU fan overheated and CPU performance dropped, so did my heart. Luckily, with some efforts, I was able to take care of technical constraints and got Keyshot results which were quite impressive. This whole process taught me so many technicalities of dealing with a software.
I tweaked the finer details in Photoshop with the help of clown pass, gaussian blur, saturation and levels. I did face many challenges, one in particular was the color of boards in off-shot compositions. I know that in a day environment, the distant objects are blurred, light in color, less in details and contrast, vice-versa in nights. Since my project shows night scenes with too many light sources in environment, it became quite a task to decide the color for billboards. In few shots, I had to change the saturation of boards to fit the particular composition in order to bring focus in foreground.
I introduced human silhouettes to relate the environment. I did not include many people in the composition, for the fear that it might make the scenes more congested and distracting. I used some usual props, like benches, street lights, dustbins, bus stands.
Finally, some fog, just to give more feel to it, I doubt if it's actually important or not, but I decided to just let it be there.
Now that production work was complete, next was the final stage, post production work, where I wanted to make a video/ slideshow!
