The Fallen
"The Fallen". This painting is a personal practice work for Environment Concept Art while I was working on final semester University project.
Time taken- 3 days.
After receiving some feedback, I realised that the Keyshot step wasn't mandatory for the workflow of this particular artwork, since I wanted to show some paintover skills. However, Keyshot did help to set the mood of the environment.
DAY3: Heavy work done in Photoshop to give artistic finish.
DAY1: Idea Generation- I did this mood painting to put abstract idea of the Fallen Robot in a fight to a visual on screen. At This stage, intention is not to be accurate in light and perspective. The mountain in my own terrain generated in Keyshot.
DAY2: Basic light information from Keyshot and different layouts. I selected no. 6 and 8.
